Hi!

Well, this is my comic website. It's basically comics about my husband and me.

I started writing these comics in a book for his birthday. I was about half way finished when his birthday came and went. So, it became a Christmas present. I actually started writing it in 1995, and it took me a year, but it was worth it. He likes it a lot. I don't know what I can say about him, he's a nice guy and all...then there are things I COULD say, but I'm not allowed or he'll kill me. Heheh.

I was Chika Sugizaki back then. I wanted to be some famous animator or cartoonist, but all failed. Then I wanted to be some famous actress, but I am too shy. So, I thought, well, MAYBE...just maybe I could become famous by "acting" in my comics and become famous that way. So here I am, starting up a website. Tell all your friends and enemies about it. Make me famous! Am I vain or what, eh?

LOL. wow. I wrote that blurb above a loooong time ago. It still holds true. I just wanted to add a bit more about the comic itself. It's mostly about true life happenings. I'd say about 95% or so is fact, the other 5% is fiction...(like I would NEVER hide in Dave's hockey bag ---EVER!) lol. The first comics are from the book, as mentioned, and I had coloured them with pencil crayon and stuff, not thinking it would someday be on the internet... haha. So I scanned them in just as is, so that's why they look the way they do. Then the world of computers opened up a new generation of comics...much nicer colours... but the drawings were still....eh.. and I was using different inks and pens and trying to figure out how to draw us. (I had one comment where Dave looked like a pedophile because I was so short and looked like a kid.) so I was goofing around with the heights and stuff. I'm still working on that one. Then came my pregnancy...which kept me pretty busy (no thanks to Dave...) ;) so that's why there's a 4 year gap from the last comic I did. haha. After much pestering from a few of those loyal fans (you know who you are!) I started to pester Dave to put my comics back online. So, here I am again, starting up where I left off. I hope I can remember all four years worth of "happenings"..... it's a long, tough road...but someone's gotta do it... hee hee. Thanks for reading! Chic
